At the core of The Vaginal Surgery and Urogynecology Institute sits the surgical talents of Dr. Veronikis.  His passion for the perfection of surgery and his devotion to only practice gynecologic surgery has led him to refine a surgical skill set that very few surgeons possess and brings women from all over the country to his office.

Treating uterine and vaginal prolapse from a vaginal approach which is the least invasive of all forms of hysterectomy and post-hysterectomy vaginal vault prolapse – no abdominal incisions with results and success that rival the standard success rates of abdominal sacrocolpopexy.  His extensive 17 year history of practicing surgical care for women with cystocele, enterocele, rectocele, urinary incontinence, and fecal incontinence had their foundation in a three year fellowship in Vaginal Reconstructive Surgery and Urogynecology under the guidance of Dr. David H. Nichols.

Dr. Veronikis’ practice also includes a long history of surgical treatments for womein with vaginal agenesis or Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser Syndrome (MRKH).  His experience includes several different modalities to create a neovagina, including a specific set of vaginal dialators for which he holds a US patent and surgical treatments such as the laparoscopic Vechietti and the McIndoe procedure.

Please see the Conditions page for other diagnoses that we treat and the Surgical Treatments page for more specific surgical procedures we perform.
