A pessary is a silicone, donut shaped device that can be placed vaginally and removed as often as you like. This device fits snuggly in the vagina to keep the vagina and uterus from prolapsing. While a pessary does not cure prolapse, in some situations it is the ideal choice for the management of prolapse symptoms.
